Profile data: Skin type, tone, concerns, hair type, and preferences you provide during onboarding and over time. This is the core of the personalisation engine.
Wellness check-in data: Mood, sleep, stress, and energy data you log daily. This data is used solely to generate your personal insights. It is never shared with third parties.
Usage data: How you interact with the platform — features used, products viewed, routines followed — used to improve recommendations and the product.
Account data: Name, email address, and payment details (handled by our payment processor — we store only payment confirmation).
We use your data to personalise product recommendations, generate wellness insights, improve the platform, process payments, and communicate with you about your account. We do not use your data to train AI models without explicit consent, and we never share personal wellness data with brands.
Brands on our marketplace and intelligence platform receive only aggregated, anonymised data — trends across user groups, never individual profiles. A brand can learn that users with oily skin in humid climates prefer lightweight serums. They cannot learn anything about you specifically.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time from within the app or by contacting privacy@ewamo.com. We respond within 30 days.
Your data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days following deletion, to allow for account recovery. Anonymised, aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
